Eligibility – Who can apply?
The E-Pass holds eligibility criteria for who can apply and what they require.

The candidates for the Singapore Employment Pass can be foreign professionals of all nationalities. The criteria are listed below.

  • The candidate should work in a managerial, executive, or specialized position.

To apply for an E-Pass, you can download the application from the official website of Ministry of Manpower(MOM).

Required Documents
The documents that are necessary to be submitted along with the application for E-Pass are:

  • Personal details page in your passport.
  • If there is a difference in the candidate’s name on the passport and the other documents, a letter explaining the change and supporting documents must be uploaded.
  • Company’s business profile.
  • Education certificate.

Suppose you are a medical practitioner, lawyer, football player, or coach, and supporting documents from the respective professional bodies. If you are an employee in a food-related company, a copy of the license issued by the Singapore Food Agency is required.

E-Pass – Renewal
The employer can choose to renew their employee’s Pass if they wish to continue working in their company. The employer or the employment agent must renew it.

  • A sum of $225 should be paid for the renewal of a Long-Term Visit Pass.
  • The application for renewal of an Singapore Employment Pass can be done 6 months before its expiration. You can start applying when you receive the renewal forms, and it has to be submitted 2 months before expiration for the pass.
  • The validity of the renewed pass is for three years.
  • Some select experienced professionals are eligible to obtain a renewed pass with a validity of 5 years.

Being an E-Pass holder, you can obtain passes for your family to move to Singapore to live with you. You are eligible to avail of passes for your family if you earn a minimum of $6,000 per month.

You can obtain a Dependant’s Pass or Long-Term Visit Pass for your family members.
